The Prajina Cultural Research Association is a non-profit organization that blends Buddhist wisdom with modern technology, founded by a team of top Tibetan translators and AI engineers from Taiwan.
We are dedicated to preserving and promoting Tibetan Buddhist culture, working closely with six libraries from the three great monasteries of South India. Our goal is to bridge language and regional barriers, bringing ancient wisdom closer to modern life.
Our work is organized into two main divisions: the Digital Division and the Dharma Treasures Division. Together, they integrate technological innovation, cultural preservation, spiritual companionship, and public welfare, with the shared goal of bringing profound wisdom and inner strength to all beings.

Our mission is to leverage technology to build an open Dharma knowledge network, promoting Tibetan-to-Chinese translation, Buddhist–AI research, and the integration of Dharma practice into everyday life. We also support monasteries and libraries in their digital and AI transformation. Tibetan–Chinese Scripture Translation
We are dedicated to accurate translation of classical Tibetan Buddhist scriptures and real-time oral interpretation, making ancient texts more accessible. We also build an open knowledge repository for public use.
Divination and Practice Facilitation
Based on the Tibetan Tārā divination ritual tradition, we provide public divination guidance and connect it with follow-up ritual practices, daily liturgical companionship, and spiritual enhancements—seamlessly integrating the Dharma into everyday life.
Assisted-Funding Projects
By combining online platforms with the spirit of offering, we enable the public to participate in monastic offerings, medical facility construction, cultural preservation, and other public welfare projects—helping individuals accumulate merit, cultivate virtue, and extend compassion and benefit to all beings.
Buddhist-AI Research and Development
We promote the integration of Buddhism and artificial intelligence, developing Dharma knowledge bases, speech recognition systems, and intelligent Dharma entities—allowing ancient wisdom to be shared more widely and applied more precisely in the Information Age.

Gelek Choklang First-term Chairperson of Prajina Cultural Research Association
Studied at Sera Mey Monastery for 12 years with outstanding achievements and has over six years of translation experience, known for clear and emotive translation style favored by audiences.
Geshe Tanzing Tandar Taiwan’s 4th Lharampa geshe (PhD in Buddhist Studies)
Studied 24 years at Ganden Shartse Monastery; obtained Lharampa geshe degree in 2023. Runs the YouTube and Facebook channel “Dawa Reading & Laughing,” promotes Tibetan language and Buddhist studies, and now serves as an advisor to Ganden Library.
Master Ru-kong Interpreter of Tibetan oral teachings with ten years of experience
Enjoys visiting places with historical significance. Over more than a decade, studied at several Buddhist institutes in India and Tibet, served as personal interpreter for important teachers including the 103rd Ganden Chöje Rinpoche.
Master Ru-xiang Vajrayāna ritual translation specialist
The foremost Vajrayāna ritual researcher within the Foguang Sangha. Over ten years of translation and Tibetan teaching experience; beautifully written and has translated numerous ritual texts and authored many well-known Buddhist works.
Master Ru-Wang Master’s degree in Religion & Culture, Xuanzang University
Deeply rooted in translation for over ten years, with profound literary foundation; each word is brilliant and captivating. Currently serves as designated Chinese translator for numerous teachers across different traditions.
Master Hui-ren Low-profile Shakyamuni bhikkhu
Years of studying the Five Treatises, with some cultivation in śamatha-vipaśyanā and path-progress teachings. Dedicates himself to sharing and discussing related content, offering guidance in advanced Buddhist courses, progressing together with learners.
Tudeng Jangchu Contemporary Gelug‐school debater
The earliest Taiwanese to study at Drepung Gomang Monastic School—13 years of study, especially excellent in debate. Over five years of experience in oral and written translation, long-term online lecturer on the Five Treatises (e.g., Abhidharma, Madhyamaka).
Master Xing-yan Tibetan language teaching instructor
Serves as a junior instructor for introductory Tibetan, teaching with a life-relevant, humorous style and loves mutual teaching with students. Since March 2025, hosts the YouTube “Master Xing-yan Teaching Channel.”
Tudeng Jangyang Contemporary tantra expert
Studied nine years at Drepung Gomang Monastic School. Outstanding academically, adept in authentic interpretation of various tantra deity practices, including the origins and stories of different lineages. Served as translation for the 104th Ganden Chöje.
